It is a good time to remind ourselves of good sleep hygiene. Being a new parent can always bring some sleep disturbances but we now also have the stress of the pandemic. This NYT article has reminders of how to make sure we are creating healthy sleep habits.
With the 2020 election only two weeks away, many people are experiencing added stress in worrying about what the future may hold. This is a good time to recommit to our self-care. The Ten Percent Happier website has an Election Sanity Guide with specific guided meditations to do each day leading up to the election. This is a great way to stay grounded during these next few weeks.

Mothers who are working from home because of the pandemic appear to be struggling more with anxiety, loneliness and depression than work-from-home dads, and rates of anxiety among new moms have jumped by as much as 40% since the pandemic began.
